April 2026
Spring in the Okanagan is a turning point. As cherry blossoms begin to unfurl across the valley and the hills return to colour, the season reminds us how quickly life can shift, sometimes slowly, sometimes in a single moment.
This month’s edition of Okanagan Valley Living is inspired by that idea: before and after.
One of the most powerful reflections of that theme is the story of Casey and Jeanette. Their journey is one of resilience, a mother and daughter navigating their new normal after a life altering accident, and the strength that carried them forward. What stayed with me most while writing their story was the parallel determination between them, and the communities that stood beside them along the way.
These stories remind us that life is always moving, seasons change, ideas evolve, and communities grow through the people who shape them.
As the cherry blossoms return to the valley, we hope this issue inspires you to reflect on the chapters that shape our lives, the moments before, the moments after, and the strength that carries us through both.
Thank you for welcoming us into your homes, and for continuing to support the businesses, stories, and people that make the Okanagan Valley so special.
